One of three Montreal teenagers accused of manslaughter in a bus stop mugging death has been sentenced to 33 months in prison.

The 16-year-old teenager, who can’t be named because he is a minor, was sentenced on Wednesday in a Montreal youth court.

He had already admitted his guilt in the beating death of Lien Kim Ngu, 67, a retired seamstress.

The teen was one of three boys who are accused of grabbing Ngu last May as she waited for a bus in Montreal North.
