The young fugitive, nicknamed the "Barefoot Bandit," who had evaded US law enforcement for months, has been arrested in the Bahamas. Colton Harris-Moore escaped from a juvenile detention center in 2008, and made his away across the country by stealing cars, boats, and planes. He is known for sometimes committing the crimes while barefoot, leaving chalk footprints, or sleeping barefoot in people’s houses.
After his arrest, the teen was transported back to Nassau. He was approached by reporters, but kept his head down and did not answer any questions. It is unclear whether he will face extradition to the United States from the Bahamas.
