One of three Ontario men alleged to be part of a domestic terrorist plot was remanded into custody Friday, and authorities say they are closing in on a fourth individual believed to be involved in the case.
Khurram Sher, 28, of London, Ont., was remanded into custody until Sept. 1. He made a brief court appearance Friday, a day after he was arrested and charged with conspiracy to knowingly facilitate a terrorist activity.
Two Ottawa men, Misbahuddin Ahmed, 26, and Hiva Alizadeh, 30, were arrested on Wednesday. They appeared in an Ottawa courtroom on Thursday facing the same charge.
