US Army Sergeant Franklin Delano Jeffries II grew weary and frustrated with a custody battle for his daughter and took to YouTube to voice his frustrations. That video, however, has landed him in hot water and resulted in a new set of legal problems.
In the video, Jeffries refers to a judge and says "I guarantee you, if you don’t stop, I’ll kill you." He makes another explicit threat about the judge hearing his case later in the video. According to the US Assistant Attorney handling the case, once the Defendant made explicit threats, he crossed the line that protects free speech.
