Air Force Reportedly Stops Enforcing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’

The Air Force has reportedly told all officers to stop enforcing "don’t ask, don’t tell," based on a judge’s order from this past Tuesday. On Tuesday, a federal judge ordered the military to immediately stop enforcing the policy.

The Justice Department has made it clear that they will appeal the judge’s ruling. The Secretary of Defense appears to support ending the policy, but is urging waiting until the Pentagon approves a timeframe for phasing it out.
